Welcome to VMS College of Nursing

I am indeed very delighted to note that the VMS Institute Batala is holding a group of institutions - Out of which VMS Institute of Nursing is a part of it. It is imparting value based, career oriented, professional education and has taken upon a great deal of social responsibility to sculpt good health workers.

Apart from imparting instructions to the students, the institution pays special attention to personality development, inculcating in them human values grooming them for a bright career and striving hard to develop students latent potentials while acquiring professional knowledge.

Nursing is complex and multifaceted profession being practised in various health care settings. Changes in the people's health care needs, advancement in scientific and communication technology and implementation of national Health Policy raise some very pertinent challenges. The new trends in the delivery of nursing services and organization of nursing education programme, demands hard work to mould our nursing students for new challenges in the profession.
